Ty Olwin drama yo‘nalishida bakalavr darajasiga ega va nufuzli School at Steppenwolf bitiruvchisi. U kino va televideniyedagi faoliyatidan tashqari, teatr sahnasida ham ko‘plab yetakchi rollarni ijro etgan. U "Steppenwolf" teatrida "East of Eden" (Cal) va "Lord of the Flies" (Jack), "Steep" teatrida "Brillant Adventures" (Luke), "The House" teatrida "Season on the line" (hikoyachi), "Raven" teatrida "Vieux Carre" (yozuvchi) kabi spektakllarda ishtirok etgan. U "Coram Boy" spektaklidagi Alexander Ashbrook roli uchun League of Cincinnati Theatres mukofotini, "Red Light Winter" spektaklidagi Matt roli uchun esa Acclaim Award mukofotini qo‘lga kiritgan.
